General: This fund covers pretty much everything. In the past this fund has been used to support internships, purchase new field vehicles (with working air conditioning), buy cleaning supplies, travel to conferences and rock shows, improve staff housing, and even secure new land to dig on. You can always designate a specific use for your donation in the comments section.
Education: This fund is used mainly to reduce admission costs to schools. It also allows us to provide engaging activities for classes. We hope to one day put together trunks that can be sent to distant classes so that they can still learn about paleontology.
Research: This fund is used for everything from purchasing paintbrushes to sending a fossil to California for 3D scanning; anything related to preserving and publishing a fossil specimen.
Exhibits: This fund is used to improve existing exhibits and create brand new ones. Do you have an idea for a new exhibit? Let us know in the comments section.
